| I have just returned to Manchester (UK) following a very short visit to Somerset West over the weekend to visit the Helderberg Nature Reserve. Old friends, Shiraz and The Dooleys Family were entertaining during a Summer Picnic Concert which was a great afternoon in one of the most beautiful areas I have ever visited.
I really hope that I can get down to the Western Cape again soon, it is absolutely beautiful. |

| I'm a South African but a permanent US resident residing in New Jersey. I have to echo the comment below...man, dis wragtag die mooiste plek in die wereld! As kids we grew up in the Strand for 3 years before my Dad was transferred to JHB. My mother currently lives there. In the winter time the snow capped Helderberg and Hottentots Holland mountains were the first thing we would see when opening the back door. Man, die heimwee darem... |
